The books written by Paul Durand were published in small quantities. Sadly, the books and maps are now out of print.

Paul was working on a second edition of Where the Waters Gather and the Rivers Meet at the time of his death. His family, with the help of local scholars and interested parties, is working to continue this effort. The second edition will include new place-names that Paul discovered only more recently. You may wish to register to receive notification when the second edition becomes available.

Fortunately, there are many places to borrow, or at least view, the books and maps. The Traverse des Sioux Treaty Site History Center in St. Peter Minnesota has an enlarged copy of the TA-KU-WA-KAN TI-PI map on display. The following organizations are believed to have books or maps:
